Muay Thai
Muay Thai is an ancient martial art originating from Thailand over 1,000 years ago. It is one of the most effective hand to hand combat systems in the world. Thai boxing has been used for centuries to build strength, endurance, concentration, self-confidence and discipline.
It’s known as the “Art of 8 Limbs” because it utilizes the fists, elbows, knees and feet as weapons to deliver devastating attacks to your opponent. Because of its simplicity and lack of embellished techniques, it is well suited for self-defense applications.
Strength and Conditioning
The training for this martial art requires extreme conditioning as well as repetition of technique, making it one of the most intense workouts and fastest ways to get in shape. In addition, strength training and proper stretching are also very important parts of the conditioning process. Our instructors emphasize this and assist with these important areas of your training.
